If Arm releases its own processor for data center operations as rumored, it could become a reference for other companies building data center processors based on the Arm architecture, similar to how Google launched its Pixel series of phones, using them as a reference design for most Android-based phones on the market.
However, regarding the news that Softbank plans to acquire Ampere Computing, both Softbank and Ampere Computing have not yet responded to it, and the relevant discussions may also change the decision later.
