ReedPop, the curator of E2022 exhibition activities since 3Announce, will no longer undertake E3 exhibition activities in the future. In addition, although the E3 exhibition organizer, the Entertainment Software Association of the United States, has not canceled next year's exhibition, it has announced that the Los Angeles Convention Center, which has hosted E3 in previous years, will no longer be used as the venue for next year's event.
From the current perspective, if the Entertainment Software Association of the United States can successfully hold the E3 2024 exhibition event next year, it will choose a different venue.
Since 1995, the Entertainment Software Association of America has chosen the Los Angeles Convention Center as the venue for the E3 exhibition every year. However, it was cancelled in 2020 due to the impact of the epidemic. Although it was held online the following year and was originally scheduled to resume physical activities in 2022, it was eventually canceled again due to various factors. It was originally planned to resume this year and was planned by ReedPop, which has experience in exhibitions such as PAX. However, it was ultimately canceled due to poor communication and low willingness of manufacturers to participate.Canceled again.
This time, ReedPop announced that it would no longer undertake the exhibition activities of the E3 exhibition. The Entertainment Software Association of the United States said that the decision was made through a consensus reached by both parties, but it still expects to continue to hold the E3 exhibition activities in the future.
In a previous interview, Stanley Pierre-Louis, President and CEO of the Entertainment Software Association of America, stated that future commercial exhibitions must undergo transformation to operate smoothly, and that future E3 exhibitions will undergo iterative transformations to meet the needs of future exhibition promotional effects, which means that the next E3 exhibition will interact with the market and players in different forms.
