At the Xiaomi People, Cars, and Home Ecosystem Conference, Xiaomi announced the launch of the REDMI K80 Extreme Edition, which not only enhances performance and battery life, but also comprehensively upgrades texture, heat dissipation, and protective design, targeting heavy users who pursue a flagship experience.
The REDMI K80 Extreme Edition continues its minimalist design style, featuring a metal middle frame and a fiberglass back cover. Available in four colors: gray, white, blue, and green, it weighs 219 grams and is 8.18mm thick. It supports IP68/69 dust and water resistance, offering greater durability.
In terms of the screen, the REDMI K80 Extreme Edition uses a 6.83-inch, 1.5K resolution AMOLED screen that supports a 144Hz frame rate, supports up to 3000 nits of peak brightness, and is protected by reinforced scratch-resistant Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass. It also has a built-in under-screen ultrasonic fingerprint recognition.
In terms of hardware specifications, the REDMI K80 Extreme Edition is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, integrated with an independent AI module and REDMI's in-house developed D2 display chip, supporting hardware-level image super-resolution, enhancing gaming and audiovisual visual performance. The battery capacity is equipped with a 7410mAh capacity and supports 100W wired fast charging and bypass charging technology, providing stable power supply and effective heat dissipation for long-term gaming or high-load tasks.
In terms of imaging system, the REDMI K80 Extreme Edition is equipped with a 5000-megapixel wide-angle lens, supports OIS optical image stabilization, an 800-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2000-megapixel video lens. It also introduces a symmetrical dual speaker system and a large-size ultra-wideband X-axis linear motor.
