Red Magic, a company focused on the e-sports hardware market, held an online launch event in Shenzhen, China today (January 20th) to officially launch its new lightweight e-sports phone, the REDMAGIC 11 Air. As the first e-sports flagship phone in 2026 to feature a "true full-screen" display, this new phone not only inherits Red Magic's consistent powerful performance but also introduces a physical fan cooling system for the first time in the Air series, attempting to achieve a balance between a lightweight body and extreme performance.
The true full-screen design returns, paying homage to vinyl records.
The REDMAGIC 11 Air continues Red Magic's signature "holeless true full screen" design, featuring a flagship-level screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Thanks to Red Magic's exclusive 1600-megapixel under-display camera (UDC) technology, coupled with an ultra-narrow bezel design of only 1.25mm, it achieves a screen-to-body ratio of up to 95.1%.
The design is inspired by the texture of vinyl records and the speed of a racetrack. The back cover is made of 3D curved glass, and for the first time, transparent elements have been introduced into all color schemes (white, black, and silver). Combined with the indispensable RGB lighting effects, it enhances the e-sports recognition.
Snapdragon 8 Elite processor + physical fan, no compromise on heat dissipation
In terms of core specifications, the REDMAGIC 11 Air is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, paired with the self-developed RedCore R4 gaming chip, forming a dual-chip architecture. This, combined with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage, ensures smooth performance under multitasking and heavy gaming.
For the first time, Red Magic has brought active cooling technology to its Air series, featuring a built-in Turbo Fan 4.0 active cooling fan with a speed of up to 24000 RPM. Combined with a new aerospace-grade aluminum alloy bracket and optimized airflow design, the cooling airflow is increased by 21% while noise is reduced by 50%. In addition, the extra-large Ice-Stage VC heat spreader claims to keep the temperature difference between hot and cold areas within 2°C, completely solving the problem of overheating and throttling during long gaming sessions.
7000mAh high-capacity battery and AI tactical coach
To support extended gaming sessions, the REDMAGIC 11 Air is equipped with the largest 7000mAh battery ever in the series, and supports 120W wired fast charging and bypass charging (directly powering the motherboard to protect battery life). The controls retain the dual shoulder buttons with a 520Hz response time and support a customizable sweat-resistant algorithm.
On the software side, it runs REDMAGIC OS 11 and features enhanced AI application capabilities:
