Razer has announced a white version of its Huntsman V60 Pro Mini, a 3% optical switch mechanical keyboard. While it inherits the black version's borderless design and features Razer's second-generation optical switches, it features white keycaps and a white base.
The Huntsman V3 Pro Mini adopts a 60% ratio configuration, mainly eliminating the F-series function keys at the top of the traditional keyboard and the direction keys in the lower right corner. In addition, the independent number keys on the right side are also removed, making the keyboard appear in the simplest and most compact form, thereby fully meeting the needs of game operation.
The keyboard's compact design not only makes it easy to carry around with a gaming laptop, but also allows for greater control with a gaming mouse. The optical switch design also uses optical technology to shorten trigger response time and provide more stable control accuracy than traditional Hall effect sensors.
At the same time, the Huntsman V3 Pro Mini is equipped with Razer's second-generation analog optical switches, which use optical methods for analog trigger input. Razer emphasizes that the key reason for not using Hall effect sensors but analog optical switches is still accuracy. Hall effect sensors using magnetic force may affect accuracy due to magnetic fields or temperature changes, but analog optical switches are more stable.
In addition, the Huntsman V3 Pro Mini also boasts that it can be configured through key combinations without the need to install additional software, including enabling Rapid Trigger mode, adjusting different button trigger modes, and even enabling the faster-response Razer Snap Tap mode at any time. Further settings can be adjusted in conjunction with the Razer Synapse software.
In terms of suggested retail price, the white version of the Huntsman V3 Pro Mini will be sold at NT$6890 and will be sold through the Razer official website, Sanchuang flagship store and other authorized distribution channels. As for the black version, it is currently sold at NT$4490.
