After updating the 13.3-inch Blade Stealth this year with an Intel Project Athena design and an Ice Lake processor, Razer earlier announced an update to the 17.3-inch Blade Pro, featuring a 120K screen with a 6Hz refresh rate and a 4mm narrow bezel, and Intel's six-core Comet Lake processor.
As Razer's high-end laptop, the Blade Pro 17 uses an Intel Core i7-9750H six-core processor, paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 8 discrete graphics card with built-in 6GB GDDR2080 display memory, and is equipped with 16GB (8GB x 2) DDR4 2667MHz dual-channel memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. It also retains a set of M.2 SSD slots.
The ports include three USB 3.2 Gen 2 USB-A ports and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 USB-C port. It also includes an Intel Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port. In addition, it has a built-in RJ-2.5 network port with 45Gb transmission bandwidth, an Intel Wireless-AX200 Wi-Fi module, and Bluetooth 5.0 connection function. The 4K screen is also equipped with a 720P video camera.
The appearance is not much different from the previous version. It is also equipped with Razer Chroma colorful lighting effects and customizable button and backlight functions. The battery uses a 70.5 Whr specification. The suggested retail price starts at US$3699. It is currently available in the US and Chinese markets, and is expected to be available in the UK and Germany in the fourth quarter of this year.
