Razer recently announced the launch of the Razer Raiju V3 Pro, a new professional-grade wireless controller designed specifically for the PlayStation 5 platform. Combining competitive hardware features such as an adjustable TMR thumbstick, HyperTriggers, and advanced mouse switches, this controller is targeted at esports and high-end console gamers who demand ultimate control precision and customization.

The TMR joystick emphasizes precision and anti-drift, and the HyperTriggers trigger button has adjustable travel.

The Raiju V3 Pro uses a symmetrically arranged TMR (Tension Magnetic Resistance) thumbstick technology. Razer emphasizes that this technology has a stable tension and anti-drift design, which can achieve pixel-level precise control while helping to extend battery life. The control handle also comes with a variety of replaceable joystick caps for players to replace according to their preferred feel.

Another key technology is the Razer Pro HyperTriggers trigger button design. Players can fine-tune the trigger button's actuation travel through Synapse 4 software, switching between "rapid burst" (short stroke) designed for shooting games and "full stroke simulation" mode that simulates real-world feedback, and can also customize the trigger distance and sensitivity.

6 additional customizable keys, PBT buttons, and 8-way D-Pad

To meet the needs of advanced gamers for customizable buttons, the Raiju V3 Pro features four detachable back buttons on the back of the controller, along with two additional claw-grip shoulder buttons next to the L1/R1 buttons. These six additional buttons utilize the same high-sensitivity micro switches found in Razer gaming mice, providing ultra-fast actuation and clear, step-by-step feedback, and are fully programmable via software.

The main action buttons and directional pad are constructed from double-injection-molded PBT, boasting crisp click action, short actuation distance, and wear- and slip-resistant properties. The directional pad features an 8-way floating D-Pad design for enhanced control precision in fighting games and other genres.

Razer HyperSpeed Wireless and Software Customization

In terms of connection, Raiju V3 Pro supports Razer HyperSpeed wireless technology, which can connect to PlayStation 5 or PC via a dedicated USB dongle to achieve low-latency and stable wireless transmission performance.

Detailed configuration is available through the Razer Mobile App (mobile) or Razer Synapse 4 (PC), including adjustments to joystick sensitivity curves, button mapping, vibration intensity, and Razer Chroma RGB lighting effects. The controller also features built-in memory that can store up to four different profiles, allowing players to quickly switch between different games or platforms.

The controller comes with a high-quality hard-shell storage case and a detachable 2-meter braided USB Type-C cable.

Jeffrey Chau, Razer’s Global Esports Director, said the Raiju V3 Pro was developed in close collaboration with professional players to ensure every design detail, from the TMR joystick to the HyperTriggers, delivers the precision, speed, and control required for professional-level competition.

Pricing and Availability

The Razer Raiju V3 Pro has a suggested retail price of NT$5290 and is available now on Razer.com and the Razer flagship store. It will be available through authorized distributors in late November.
