Following the previous application of its optical axis inHuntsman Series Mechanical KeyboardAndViper MouseLater, Razer also added an optical switch design option to the Blade 15 Advanced laptop it announced earlier to speed up the key operation experience on the laptop.
Because it is built using the light trigger principle, the laptop keyboard key structure can be further simplified, thereby increasing the actual pressing stroke by 50%. The 1.7mm stroke increases the operating feel without adding extra weight like traditional mechanical structure designs.
As for the hardware specifications, Razer's updated Blade 15 Advanced uses a 240-inch screen that supports a 15.6Hz screen refresh rate and a resolution of 1080P. Other hardware includes an independent graphics card designed with Intel's 9th-generation Core i7-9750H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q, as well as 16GB of memory and a 512GB NVMe SSD.
In terms of suggested retail price, the updated Blade 15 Advanced will be launched in the US market at a price of US$2649, and versions with more specifications are expected to be launched in 2020.
