Razer has announced the launch of the new BlackWidow V4 75% mechanical gaming keyboard, featuring a sturdy aluminum construction, a padded mounting plate, premium hot-swappable switch sockets, and a new tactile mechanical switch design. Combined with Razer Chroma RGB lighting effects and key customization, it allows gamers to enjoy a whole new keyboard experience.
The BlackWidow V4 75% is available in black or white, and is compatible with either 3-pin or 5-pin key switches. Its slot-type circuit board design allows for quick replacement of mechanical switches with your preferred options, allowing for greater flexibility in key customization.
Furthermore, the keyboard itself utilizes a padded FR4 alignment plate, with sound-damping pads sandwiched between the tape-reinforced circuit board and the FR4 alignment plate. The bottom case is also lined with sound-damping pads to reduce unwanted clashing or reverberation noise. The key stabilizers are pre-lubricated at the factory to reduce keystroke noise, and the screw-fastened design allows for easy future replacement of the stabilizers, ensuring a quiet and stable keyboard experience.
The keyboard features a 75% scale configuration and a 5052 aluminum alloy frame for increased durability. It also features Chroma RGB lighting on both sides, allowing each key to illuminate independently, creating a visually appealing color effect. The keys support an 8000Hz polling rate and can be customized using Razer Synapse software. It also supports full-zone anti-ghosting and anti-ghosting, and the keycaps are crafted from double-injection molded ABS.
Razer emphasized that the BlackWidow V4 75%, including the previously launched BlackWidow V4 Pro, BlackWidow V4 and BlackWidow V4 X, were all designed based on extensive player feedback, while ensuring that they can cope with intense gaming operations.
The BlackWidow V4 75% will launch in Taiwan for NT$6890. It's now available through Razer channels and pre-orders are available through authorized distributor Liang Xing Electronics. Razer also plans to release a white BlackWidow V4 75% White Edition for NT$7290, with sales expected to begin in mid-September.
