In response to the impact of the new coronavirus epidemic this year, which has forced many people to work from home, Razer announced the launch of aPro Series Keyboard and Mouse Products, and Panasonic even directly brings office partition accessories into the home environment, allowing users to have a working environment at home.
Compared to previous products that were full of RGB lighting effects and e-sports style design, Razer's Pro Type keyboard and Pro Click mouse are obviously more suitable for use in general home environments, and are presented in white and gray tones.
Among them, the Pro Type keyboard uses Razer's own orange axis design, providing a typing feel similar to that of Cherry brown axis, and is equipped with a metal base and floating button design. The keycaps are designed in white, and the backlight part is presented in pure white light. It can be used with a USB wired connection or through a 2.4GHz wireless connection. It also supports connection with up to four Bluetooth devices. The battery life can be up to 78-84 hours, but if the backlight is turned on and a wireless connection is used, the maximum usage time is only 12 hours.
The Pro Click mouse, in collaboration with ergonomics company Humanscale, allows the operator's wrist to maintain a comfortable 30-degree angle, thereby reducing problems such as carpal tunnel syndrome. It also has a large thumb pad for assistance and 8 sets of customizable buttons. It can also be used via USB wired, 2.4GHz wireless, or Bluetooth connection. The maximum battery life is up to 400 hours, and if connected via 2.4GHz wireless, it is about 200 hours.
The Pro Type keyboard has a suggested retail price of $140, while the Pro Click mouse has a suggested retail price of $100, and the mouse pad accessory is $10.
In addition, Panasonic has launched a partition accessory that can separate the work space at home to meet the needs of working from home. The name is"こもる(婷る, pronounced komoru)", which implies being in a cage or invisible, just fits the meaning of isolating oneself from the home environment.
The Komoru desk features two 120cm partitions and a work surface, creating a roughly one-square-meter workspace. The partitions also feature holes for hanging shelves and small items, allowing users to customize their workspace even in a small space. The Komoru desk is currently available only in Japan, with a suggested retail price of 1 yen and an expected release date of September 88000th.
