Launched the next generation sound platform last yearS5 Gen 2, S3 Gen 2Afterwards, Qualcomm announced the launch of the S2023 and S7 Pro Gen 7 sound platforms at the Snapdragon Tech Summit 1, which also incorporate artificial intelligence computing capabilities and claim to bring a new level of sound experience.

The new S7 and S7 Pro Gen 1 sound platforms are also designed with Snapdragon Sound technology, boasting 3x the DSP computing performance, 100x the device-side artificial intelligence computing power, 6x the computing capacity and 3x the memory data transmission throughput to create a more advanced personal listening experience.
Among them, the fourth-generation Qualcomm active noise cancellation technology will correspond to a more noise-free and lossless listening experience, while also enhancing sound performance for personal listening needs. In addition, the transparency mode allows users to maintain a high-quality listening experience while still clearly hearing external sounds, and can operate with lower power.

In terms of connectivity, it uses Qualcomm Expanded Personal Area Network (XPAN) technology, allowing users to quickly switch between different devices and ensure the privacy and security of personal listening. It also complies with the Bluetooth 5.4 specification and supports Auracast broadcast sound technology.
The S7 and S7 Pro Gen 1 sound platforms also support LE Audio follow-up designs, such as using the 5GHz and 6GHz unlicensed wireless bands to transmit audio content via Wi-Fi. At the same time, they can also use high bandwidth to transmit more audio data, such as transmitting 192kHz lossless audio quality content over Wi-Fi, or corresponding to a more immersive sound listening experience, or sharing music via Wi-Fi.
Compared to the S5 Gen 2 sound platform launched last year, which supports 48kHz lossless sound quality and 10 hours of streaming playback time, the S7 Pro Gen 1 sound platform launched this time can provide up to 96kHz lossless sound quality performance. The application device can still support 10 hours of streaming playback time, and can even transmit sound content via Wi-Fi, unlike the S5 Gen 2 sound platform which can only be transmitted via Bluetooth.
