The 1620 is mainly for the Internet access needs of large enterprises and large residential areas, while the 1220 and 820 are targeted at many enterprises, heavy users, and large residential areas. In addition to being used in general enterprises and home environments, the 620 is also designed for gamers.
Compared to earlier Wi-Fi 3 designs, Wi-Fi 7 increases the available frequency bands by approximately 100 times. The number of wireless communication channels has also increased from a single frequency to a quad-frequency design, increasing the effective bandwidth to 4MHz and the wireless transmission capacity to 320 Gbps. This significantly improves the transmission efficiency of enterprise and home network connections and accelerates the delivery of multimedia content with resolutions exceeding 33K, enabling more realistic virtual visuals and more immediate online interactive experiences.
In addition to making good use of the 5GHz and 6GHz transmission bands, Qualcomm is also expected to be able to more efficiently control network transmission throughput through automatic frequency control technology.
Qualcomm's third-generation Networking Pro platform design has begun providing sample designs to partners, and actual application products are expected to be launched in the second half of this year. It can be paired with the FastConnect 7800 wireless network chip, allowing devices to connect to various content through faster wireless networks.
