Announced during MWC 2023 this yearSnapdragon X75 5G connectivity data chipEarlier, Qualcomm announced that in an independent networking environment with 4-way carrier aggregation TDD connection mode and combined with 1024 QAM (quadrature amplitude modulation), it can achieve a peak downlink transmission speed of up to 6Gbps in the frequency band below 7.5GHz.

The Snapdragon X75 5G connectivity data chip complies with the Release 3 specification defined by 18GPP, and mainly adds 5G advanced application functions. It not only integrates the connection capabilities of sub-6GHz frequency bands and millimeter wave bands, but also combines the Snapdragon satellite connection function unveiled at CES 2023 earlier this year.

In addition, the Snapdragon X75 5G connectivity data chip is combined with Qualcomm's second-generation 5G artificial intelligence processor, which uses artificial intelligence technology to optimize 5G network transmission and minimize power loss, thereby extending device battery life.

In addition to its use in smartphones, Qualcomm also stated that the Snapdragon X75 5G networking data chip can also be widely used in smart cars, mobile communications, computer computing, industrial Internet of Things, public or private network construction and other fields. At the same time, it also adds a usage mode that can be used for satellite connection applications to meet more diverse network connection needs.

Qualcomm is currently providing customers with a test Snapdragon X75 5G networking data chip, which is expected to be used in commercially available products in the second half of this year. These include personal networking devices or mobile phone products using this data chip. It is also expected to be used in the new flagship Snapdragon processor to be announced in the second half of the year (unsurprisingly, it will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3).
