Fantasy Beast Palu (Palworld) developer Pocket Pair announced earlierEstablished its game publishing business, and pledged to provide funding, development and content distribution resources.
Pocket Pair plans to develop with more independent developers and small game studios, and has revealed that a project has already been put into operation. It also revealed that it will assist Surgent Studios, the game developer that has collaborated with EA to create the 2D horizontal action adventure game "Tales of Kenzera: Zau", to enable it to have sufficient funds to create new game content.
Prior to this, Surgent Studios had been out of money due to financial problems and had suspended all development operations. With the financial assistance of Pocket Pair, it plans to create a horror-themed game through its UK studio.
Pocket Pair stated that establishing a publishing business is a brand new attempt, with an emphasis on helping more developers and creators reduce funding issues and allow more game works to enter the market smoothly.
