Following the launch of the Pixelbook in 2017, Google officially announced the new Pixelbook Go at the Made by Google event. In addition to using the Chrome OS operating system and a traditional laptop design, it also emphasizes a more durable body and a wave-shaped design on the bottom that is easier to grab.
The Pixelbook Go, which emphasizes that the entire machine is made of recycled materials, is only 1.3 cm thick and weighs only 2 pounds (about 0.91 kg). The battery power can correspond to up to 12 hours of continuous use. It also uses the Hush Keys keyboard specification with an extremely silent design, and the operating system uses Chrome OS.
As for hardware specifications, Pixelbook Go will offer Intel Core m3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors, as well as 8GB or 16GB of memory, and storage components use 64GB, 128GB or 256GB SSDs.
Pixelbook Go is expected to be available for pre-order, with a suggested retail price starting at US$649. It will be available in two colors: pure black and not-so-pink, but only the pure black model will be available for pre-order.
