Google said it will use artificial intelligence technology to enable current software and hardware-integrated devices to have more groundbreaking functional applications. For example, the previously launched true wireless earphones Pixel Buds Pro will be able to utilize Bluetooth ultra-wideband features after this software upgrade to transmit clear call packets at a higher bandwidth while also reducing latency by 50%.
In addition to announcing that the Pixel Buds Pro will receive new features through software updates, Google also added Gulf Blue and Beige color options for this true wireless headset.
As for the real-time interpretation function that was previously demonstrated during Google I/O 2023 using the internal and external screens of Pixel Fold, it will officially become an official function of Pixel Fold, and both users and the other party can view the translation results in real time through the internal and external screens, thereby having a smooth conversation.
The Pixel Tablet has gained features through the upgrade, including a navigation interface design in Kids Mode, allowing children to switch between different apps more easily. In addition, when the Pixel Tablet is placed on the dock and Hub Mode is activated, the Google Assistant can be used to play news or podcast content without unlocking the screen.
The other parts include the camera functions, clocks, photos, etc. that Google has delegated to more Pixel series phones. Models after Pixel 4a and even the Pixel 7 series can all receive relevant upgrades, but the time may be relatively late.
The next functions expected to be decentralized include recording summary highlights, adding smart reply functions to the Gboard input method, and making long-distance digital zoom images clearer.
