Leica has announced a strategic partnership with Capture One, a leading professional image processing software, which will significantly improve the tethering stability, color reproduction, and workflow of Leica cameras in Capture One.

Photographers rejoice! Leica announces a deep alliance with professional image processing software provider Capture One to enhance the studio shooting experience.

To celebrate this collaboration, the two companies have also launched an exclusive trial program for Leica users, offering free access to Capture One Pro for up to three months upon registration.

Completing the software mosaic: It's not just about photo editing, but also emphasizes "connected shooting".

Capture One has long been the preferred tool for commercial studios and professional photographers, especially in terms of stability and speed in "live shooting," where it is often considered superior to Adobe Lightroom.

The core objective of this deep alliance between Leica and Capture One is to create a "direct, reliable, and ultra-fast online workflow." This is crucial for users shooting in studios with Leica SL3 or S-series cameras. With optimized support, photographers will enjoy smoother real-time image transfer, precise Live View framing, and real-time parameter adjustments on their computers.

In addition, Capture One offers exclusive optimized color profiles and lens correction settings for Leica cameras, emphasizing highly realistic color reproduction and precise tone control to ensure that Leica's unique "Leica look" is perfectly preserved even after entering the digital darkroom.

Exclusive for Leica users: How to claim your 3-month free trial?

As a first gift to the collaboration between the two parties, Leica users can enjoy a 3-month free trial license for Capture One starting today.

Activities:Experience all Capture One features for free (including live shooting and post-processing tools).

Collection method:Go toLeica official websiteComplete membership registration or login to obtain a license and installation guide.

Allowing Leica to more easily enter commercial photography studios

While Leica has historically held a prestigious position in street and documentary photography, its software compatibility has often been a deterrent for photographers in commercial studios that demand efficiency, fast connection speeds, and precise color control. Capture One, however, reigns supreme in this field (supporting over 550 cameras).

By officially partnering with Capture One, Leica directly addresses the shortcomings in the "software" aspect. This not only gives photographers using handheld SL systems more confidence when working in the studio, but also demonstrates that Leica is no longer just emphasizing passion and optics, but is beginning to value the practicality of modern digital workflows.
