The first product launched in the Japanese market in May this yearAQUOS R8, AQUOS R8 ProToday (10/12), Sharp announced that it will launch the AQUOS R8s and AQUOS R8s Pro in Taiwan.
However, compared to the AQUOS R8 and AQUOS R8 Pro, which were first launched in the Japanese market and certified in cooperation with Leica, the version launched in the Taiwan market is not within the scope of certification cooperation. Therefore, although it also uses a 1-inch photosensitive element design in the main camera wide-angle lens, it does not have the Leica logo.
In order to balance the gap, Sharp offers additional preferential prices for the AQUOS R8s and AQUOS R8s Pro launched in the Taiwan market, and randomly comes with a multi-layer star filter + protective case accessories.
Among them, the AQUOS R8s will be sold at NT$25990 and will be available in two colors: Morandi Blue and Morandi White, while the AQUOS R8 Pro will be sold at NT$34990 and will only be available in the Matte Black and Gold color scheme.
Both phones use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The AQUOS R8s features a 6.39-inch Pro IGZO OLED screen with a waterdrop notch design, 8GB of memory and 256GB of internal storage, and is equipped with a 4570mAh battery capacity. It supports IP68 level waterproof and dustproof, and additionally has the US military standard MIL-STD-810G protection design.
The camera system is equipped with a 5030-megapixel wide-angle lens with a 1/1.55-inch sensor, and a 1300-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.
The AQUOS R8s Pro uses a 6.6-inch Pro IGZO OLED hole-punch design screen with a maximum brightness of 2000nits, is equipped with 12GB of memory and 256GB of storage capacity, and has a battery capacity of 5000mAh.
The camera system is equipped with a 4720-megapixel wide-angle lens with a 1-inch photosensitive element, which corresponds to a 0.7x to 6x magnification shooting effect. In addition, it is also equipped with a 190-megapixel depth-of-field lens and a 14-channel spectral sensor to assist shooting and focusing. The camera's aluminum outer ring increases the heat dissipation effect of the photosensitive element, allowing the camera system to cope with long-term shooting stability.
In addition, AQUOS R8s Pro further enhances the HDR image processing speed and adds starry sky and fireworks modes for night shooting.
