The thickness is reduced by about 8% compared to the height of the lens module of Find X20, and this thin and light design provides support for up to IPX9 level waterproof design. The body is available in two colors: Space Black and Mist White.
As for the hinge, the Find N5 is made of 3D-printed Grade 5 titanium alloy and has passed the German Rhine reliable flex test certification. Not only can it meet higher assembly precision through 3D printing manufacturing, but it is also treated at a high temperature of 1700 degrees Celsius for more than 80 hours to ensure the durability of its support structure after its size is reduced.
While OPPO hasn't disclosed the Find N5's specific folding durability, it emphasizes that its 3D-printed titanium alloy hinge, coupled with a screen design that boasts 70% improved impact resistance, will withstand a wide range of everyday folding scenarios. OPPO also cited German TÜV Rheinland testing, which conducted 50 folding cycles at 10°C and the same number of cycles at -20°C, confirming that the Find N5 has passed these rigorous tests.
OPPO also explained that the new phone uses self-developed ultra-strong steel (strength up to 2200 MPa) and wear-resistant steel (wear resistance increased by up to 20 times), combined with 3D printing to manufacture titanium alloy hinges, allowing the hinge mechanism to remain stable after long-term use. The screen also adopts a 9-layer precision laminated design, plus ultra-thin glass, 0.1mm thick ultra-thin stainless steel and impact-resistant protective film. This greatly reduces creases after the screen is flattened, making it present a smoother surface. It also supports OPPO Pen handwriting input.
In terms of screen specifications, the Find N5 uses a 20.7-inch external screen with a 9:120 display ratio, supports a maximum frame rate of 2450Hz, and has a peak brightness of 6.62 nits. The internal screen uses an 120-inch specification that also supports a maximum frame rate of 212Hz and has a total display area of 8.12 square centimeters.
