OPPO has previously revealed a lot of information about the Reno Ace, but the company has finally officially unveiled its new phone. It has also confirmed that the famous shark fin lifting video camera on the original Reno series will be replaced with a waterdrop-shaped fringe, while the quad-lens main camera on the back will be located in the center. The phone emphasizes a screen design that supports a 90Hz frame rate and is equipped with up to 65W fast charging SuperVOOC 2.0 technology, claiming that it can charge for 5 hours of use in just 2 minutes.
The Reno Ace weighs 200 grams, which is basically the same as the previously launched model. The screen uses a 2400-inch E1080 AMOLED specification with a resolution of 6.5 x 3, and supports a 90Hz frame refresh rate and a screen touch response speed of up to 135Hz. This corresponds to a faster screen touch operation speed, which can be improved when frequently using the phone to input text content or play games.
As for the processor, it uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+, which also uses a heat sink, a composite carbon fiber and graphite material to create a cooling system, and has built-in 8GB or 12GB of memory, and 128GB or 256GB of storage capacity. The test battery capacity is 4000mAh, and with the SuperVOOC 65 battery fast charging technology with a charging power of 2.0W, it can charge 5 hours of power in 2 minutes.
As for the camera, the video camera boasts a 1600-megapixel sensor, while the quad-lens rear camera features a 4800-megapixel main camera (IMX586), an 800-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 1300-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 200-megapixel monochrome camera. The phone also features NFC and an under-display fingerprint scanner, along with support for Dolby Atmos, dual speakers, HDR gaming enhancements, and 4D vibration effects driven by a linear motor.
Reno Ace建議售價將是人民幣3199元、399與3799元，預計在10月17日現在中國市場推出，台灣地區則確認不會引進。
After previously collaborating with Bandai to launch a co-branded Gundam power bank, the cooperation has now been extended to mobile phone products. The Reno ACE will be a co-branded Gundam 40th Anniversary commemorative model, and handle accessories and earphones will be released simultaneously. The suggested retail price is RMB 3599.
另外，OPPO此次也同步推出搭載Snapdragon 730G處理器、6400萬畫素主相機鏡頭與30W快充設計的OPPO K5，建議售價為人民幣1899元起跳，同樣會在10月17日正式推出。
