At this year's ODC 2022 Developer Conference, OPPO further explainedColorOS 13 customized interfaceIn addition to the public beta announcement, the company also announced the launch of the Pantanal cross-device system, named after the Pantanal wetlands in Brazil. The goal is to achieve cross-device connectivity so that data between different devices can be used interchangeably.
According to OPPO, the Pantanal cross-device system will be connected through a single OPPO account and allow users to seamlessly connect work tasks between different devices. For example, files opened on a mobile phone can be quickly transferred to a tablet device for further editing, and photos and other content can also be opened on different devices through cloud synchronization.
OPPO emphasized that it will use the Pantanal cross-device system to achieve cross-brand, cross-system, and cross-protocol device interaction, while solving the current problem of IoT connectivity being difficult due to complex network environments. This will promote the user experience of interoperability between OPPO smart terminals and other terminals, and realize the development of larger-scale IoT applications.
Through this design, OPPO expects to reduce the difficulty of service design for developers, making it easier to bring service content to devices of different brands, thereby expanding greater service opportunities.
