Users can choose to enable or disable the ChatGPT extension in the system settings. Once turned off, Siri will not automatically connect to the external model, giving users who are concerned about privacy or data flow greater peace of mind.
OpenAI says GPT-5 is its safest version yet, thanks in part to a new mechanism called Safe Completions that provides the most useful responses possible within strict safety parameters.
