Reuters reported that OpenAI is open-sourcing a new artificial intelligence model codenamed "Strawberry" that will be able to plan ahead and perform more complex tasks through more advanced reasoning capabilities.
This artificial intelligence model was earlier called "Q*" (Q star) and can answer difficult scientific questions and mathematical calculations.
However, it is currently impossible to confirm the actual development progress of this artificial intelligence model, or whether it is the artificial intelligence technology product that OpenAI previously demonstrated internally that has close to human thinking and reasoning.
Prior to this, OpenAI had been concerned that CEO Sam Altman was pushing for the development of uncontrollable artificial intelligence technology, which would lead to internal infighting. However, after a subsequent board reorganization, Sam Altman returned to serve as OpenAI's CEO and established a new safety oversight system to allow OpenAI to continue investing in the development of artificial intelligence technology.
