Currently, this feature is only available to paid users of ChatGPT Plus, ChatGPT Pro, or ChatGPT Team. Enterprise and Education edition users will have to wait until 2025 to get this feature. As for users in the EU, they cannot use this feature for the time being due to privacy policy restrictions.

In the OpenAI demonstration, users can use this function to take a photo of coffee utensils and ask ChatGPT how to brew coffee to receive step-by-step instructions. They can also take a photo of a text message with their mobile phone, and ChatGPT will provide appropriate reply suggestions. They can also take a photo of all people in the room, and ChatGPT will record the appearance characteristics of everyone.

In addition, in response to the upcoming Christmas, OpenAI has also added a Santa Claus voice mode to ChatGPT, allowing ChatGPT to respond in the tone of Santa Claus and open it to all users.
