Compared to previous services that only allowed users to order food from a single store at a time, Uber Eats has begun to launch a multi-store ordering function in the US market, allowing users to order food from different stores at the same time without paying additional delivery fees.
Such adjustments are expected to attract more people to use Uber Eats to order meals, for example allowing users to order a main meal and a drink at the same time.
In the user interface, users can first order food and beverages from the first restaurant, and then add another restaurant through the options at the bottom of the interface. In the Uber Eats recommendation mechanism, when users add food and beverages to order, they will also be recommended nearby food and beverages, thereby increasing the usage rate of the Uber Eats service.
However, users can currently only order food and beverages from up to two different stores at the same time. However, there are no specific restrictions on the types of stores that can be ordered. Users can choose general restaurants, convenience stores, or businesses that specialize in selling alcohol to order food and beverages. There is also no specific restriction on the distance between different stores. Generally speaking, as long as they are within the range of Uber Eats service, delivery services can be provided.
Currently, this feature is only available in the US market, and it is not yet confirmed whether it will be available in other regions.
