NVIDIA announced a partnership with Snowflake, a data cloud service provider, to integrate NeMo, its service platform for developing large-scale language models, with Snowflake services. This will allow companies to build customized large-scale language models in the Snowflake data cloud and securely use their own proprietary data.
This collaboration allows enterprises to reduce the risk of internal data leakage when building large-scale language models through public cloud services, and enables enterprises to accelerate the development of various service applications using their own large-scale language models.
By integrating NVIDIA and Snowflake's artificial intelligence technologies, enterprise users can quickly build, deploy, and manage various customized applications and apply automatically generated artificial intelligence technologies to various businesses.
In addition, extending AI capabilities in the data cloud will enable enterprise users to securely build automatically generated AI applications using existing managed data, thereby reducing costs and delays while ensuring data security.
As of the end of April this year, Snowflake Data Cloud has more than 4 customers worldwide, allowing enterprises to integrate, analyze and share various types of data within their organizations and with customers, partners, suppliers, etc., while also building large-scale applications to promote the development of advertising, media, entertainment, financial services, healthcare, technology, telecommunications, as well as life sciences, manufacturing, retail and consumer markets. Recently, it has also launched data cloud services for government agencies and educational institutions.
