During Gamescom 2025, NVIDIA announced that its DLSS 4 technology now supports over 175 games and applications. The company also announced that its AI-powered rendering and ray tracing technology is now fully integrated into several major releases this year, including Borderlands 4, Resident Evil Requiem, Phantom Blade Zero, and Fate Trigger. Resident Evil Requiem and The Dark Pictures Anthology: Directive 4 even feature full-scene path tracing, delivering cinematic real-time lighting and shadow effects.

Matt Wuebbling, vice president of global GeForce marketing at NVIDIA, said that DLSS 4 and path tracing technology are no longer just cutting-edge experiments, but the core foundation of modern PC gaming, enabling significant breakthroughs in image quality and performance.

DLSS 4 multi-frame generation, performance can be increased by up to 8 times
DLSS 4's Multi Frame Generation feature generates three additional frames for each frame on top of traditional rendering, delivering up to an 8x performance boost. Combined with DLSS Super Resolution, Ray Reconstruction, and NVIDIA Reflex, it significantly reduces latency while improving real-time gaming responsiveness.

The newly announced support list during Gamescom 2025 includes 2A-level new works such as "CINDER CITY", "Dying Light: The Beast", "The Outer Worlds 2" and "PRAGMATA".
Among them, "Indiana Jones and the Great Circle" will add RTX Hair technology in September, leveraging the new hardware capabilities of the RTX 9 series GPUs to achieve more detailed hair rendering effects.

Many games will also be available on the GeForce NOW cloud streaming game platform, including "Hell Is Us", "Borderlands 4" and "CINDER CITY".

NVIDIA App New Features: DLSS Global Settings and AI Assistant Upgrade
NVIDIA has also updated the NVIDIA App, adding Global DLSS Overrides, allowing players to apply DLSS settings to multiple supported games at once, saving the hassle of adjusting them one by one.
In addition, the previously launched Project G-Assist AI assistant function will use a more efficient model, reducing memory usage by 40%, with faster response speed and higher command accuracy; players can also adjust traditional 3D settings such as anisotropic filtering, anti-aliasing and ambient occlusion in the app. The relevant update will be released in Beta version on August 8.

NVIDIA ACE and RTX Remix Creation Platforms Evolve
NVIDIA ACE technology is further applied to works such as "The Oversight Bureau", allowing players to interact naturally with NPCs through voice. The system can interpret interactive voice and respond quickly on RTX AI PCs with on-device computing power, with an overall latency of less than one second, and achieves a balance between immersion and developer creative control.

Additionally, the RTX Remix community, an open-source remastering platform, continues to grow. Players have already added path tracing and neural rendering to classic games like Call of Duty 4, KOTOR, Doom 4, the unofficial remake of Half-Life: Black Heights, and Bioshock. They've also introduced a new particle system, allowing players to customize the appearance, lighting effects, and physical properties of particles in 3 classic titles.
