This year it was revealed during CES 2025GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards, and after subsequently launching the GeForce RTX 5090, GeForce RTX 5080, GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, and GeForce RTX 5070 in the market, NVIDIA earlier announced the launch of the GeForce RTX 299, which is targeted at more popular market usage needs and has a starting price range of US$5060. It also announced the launch of the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with different display memory configurations.

From the perspective of product positioning, the GeForce RTX 5060 continues the design of the GeForce RTX 4060 and maintains the same price at US$299. It also launches the higher-end GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, which is equipped with 8GB or 16GB of video memory, with a suggested retail price of US$379 and US$429 respectively.
In addition to the Blackwell display architecture design, the GeForce RTX 5060 also upgraded to the 5th generation Tensor Core design and the 4th generation RT Core design, and replaced it with GDDR7 display memory. The PCIe port specification was also changed to Gen 5 specification. The display output is also equipped with the DisplayPort 20b specification that supports a maximum transmission rate of UHBR20 (2.1Gbps), and the DLSS technology has also been upgraded to version 4.0 to correspond to the automatically generated artificial intelligence display technology.

With the support of DLSS 4 technology, more games will be able to be upscaled through artificial intelligence technology, thereby corresponding to clearer image details, low latency, and richer and smoother visual tension performance, allowing more gamers with limited budgets to get better game graphics performance through the GeForce RTX 5060.

The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti has increased computing power and offers an additional 16GB of display memory. Therefore, its display performance when using DLSS 4 technology will be greatly improved compared to the previous generation GeForce RTX 4060 Ti. At the same time, it almost doubles the frame rate performance and is suitable for many top-tier gaming experiences.

Currently, the GeForce RTX 5060 is expected to be officially launched in May this year, while the GeForce RTX 5 Ti is expected to enter the market on April 5060 this year. Both will also launch Founder Editions at the same time, but only the GeForce RTX 4 Ti will additionally be equipped with 16GB of video memory.
In addition, after laptop products equipped with GeForce RTX 50 series independent graphics cards entered the market one after another, NVIDIA also announced that laptop models equipped with GeForce RTX 5060 mobile graphics cards will also be launched on the market, with a suggested retail price starting at US$1099, and also corresponding to display application technologies such as DLSS 4, NVIDIA Ace, RTX Remix, and Reflex 2.
