The models launched this time are divided into Red Magic 8 Pro and Red Magic 8 Pro+. The appearance has also been changed to a more square design, with a flat frame and a simpler texture appearance. The color options include black and transparent.
Both models use a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen provided by BOE, with a resolution of Full HD+, a peak brightness of up to 1300nits, and a narrow bezel design of 1.48mm. They also maintain the use of an under-screen camera to increase the screen-to-body ratio, supporting a 120Hz frame refresh rate and a 960Hz touch sampling rate.
Like the previous design, the Red Magic 8 Pro series also has side buttons that support a 520Hz touch sampling rate, and retains a 3.5mm headphone jack and dual X-axis linear motors. It also introduces Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound technology, supporting up to 96kHz digital audio transmission, and the delay time is controlled within 48ms.
The Red Magic 8 Pro series also uses Nubia's self-developed gaming chip "Red Core R2", which is claimed to be able to improve the phone's touch performance, vibration touch fineness, and display light effect performance like the previously launched "Red Core 1". The body also uses VC liquid cooling, a fan and a cooling system composed of graphene materials.
In terms of hardware specifications, in addition to using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the Red Magic 8 Pro uses 8GB or 12GB of memory, with 128GB or 256GB of storage capacity, and a battery capacity of 6000mAh, supporting 80W wired fast charging. The Red Magic 8 Pro+ uses the same processor, with 12GB or 16GB of memory, and 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage capacity. The battery has a capacity of 5000mAh and supports 165W wired fast charging.
相機系統部分，紅魔8 Pro系列均採用1600萬畫素視訊鏡頭，主相機則採用搭載三星ISOCELL GN5感光元件的5000萬畫素廣角鏡頭，搭配800萬畫素超廣角鏡頭與200萬畫素微距鏡頭。
