In terms of hardware specifications, the Z70 Ultra is equipped with the world's first 1.5K resolution, true full-size, hole-free display, and corresponds to a 430 PPI pixel density. It adopts a full-screen blue diamond pixel arrangement design, supports a 144Hz full-screen refresh rate and 2000 nits local peak brightness performance. It also has a new under-screen camera design and is paired with a UDC Ultra display chip to enable better display effects for the display area covering the lens.
In addition to using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, it is also equipped with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage components. The battery uses silicon-carbon anode technology and provides a 6150mAh capacity design to meet the needs of long-term use.
The camera system uses a fourth-generation customized optical lens with a 35mm focal length and a variable aperture design from f/1.59 to f/4.0. It is claimed to be able to simulate the imaging method of the eye to capture more vivid colors and realistic bokeh effects. It also uses blue-coated glass and infrared light filter design to ensure more accurate color calibration.
Like other brands, nubia has also added a physical mechanical shutter button to the Z70 Ultra body, and it has a dual-stroke design. A long press can quickly activate the camera function, and you can focus by half pressing it, or shoot by fully pressing it.
Other designs include support for IP68/69 dust and water resistance, and are equipped with NFC sensing interaction and infrared functions. As for the new version of the Nebula AIOS operating system interface, it adopts a more intuitive interface design and adds application functions such as artificial intelligence translation. It also supports two-way satellite communication functions, which can correspond to calls and message transmission.
In terms of suggested retail price, the Z70 Ultra will be sold at a starting price of RMB 4599, and will be available in two colors: Black Seal (black) and Amber (gold). In addition, a Starry Sky Collector's Edition with six-layer optical technology and micro-etching will be available. The Z70 Ultra is also expected to be launched in the global market on November 11.
