NTT announced that it will officially establish "NTT AI-CIX Corporation" (Artificial Intelligence Cross-Industry Transformation Company) on August 8. It is expected that through current technologies such as digital twin prediction and artificial intelligence optimization, artificial intelligence technology can be applied across industries and achieve collaborative results, thereby promoting the development of artificial intelligence technology in different industry supply chains.
The newly announced NTT AI-CIX Corporation will have operating capital of 19.5 billion yen (approximately NT$4.34 million) and will be led by President and Representative Director Akira Shimada as CEO. It plans to provide integrated services ranging from consulting to product and solution development, as well as artificial intelligence platform services.
In January this year, NTT established a partnership with Trial Holdings, a company engaged in distribution and retail business as well as retail artificial intelligence business, to jointly research supply chain management and optimize the supply chain management process of the entire distribution industry.
Currently, NTT is committed to accelerating the integration of relevant data behind the operations of manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers, while incorporating supply chain and procurement trends of different product categories to further optimize the overall supply chain management of the distribution industry.
NTT expects that the technology provided by NTT AI-CIX Corporation will help accelerate the growth of businesses such as energy, public assistance, building management, robot delivery, chain stores, supermarkets, and agriculture by introducing artificial intelligence technology.
