After launching the CMF By Nothing sub-brand in August last year, Nothing started teasing the sub-brand’s first phone, CMF Phone 8. It also confirmed that the next flagship phone of the Nothing brand, Nothing Phone (1), will not be launched until at least 3, meaning that resources will be concentrated on the CMF By Nothing sub-brand this year.
In addition, Nothing CEO Pei Yu also revealed in the interview video that the company has already started designing various artificial intelligence-related applications. He also showed the prototype of the digital voice assistant under development and explained that the company will use software and hardware integration to provide a different user experience for mobile phones.
The CMF Phone 1, the first mobile phone of the CMF By Nothing sub-brand announced earlier, will adopt a bright orange appearance design and also add a turntable design, but its specific function cannot be confirmed at the moment.
As for the specifications of CMF Phone 1, it is currently rumored to be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor, a 6.7-inch OLED screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, a 5000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging, and 8GB of memory. The camera will be equipped with a wide-angle lens and an ultra-wide-angle lens, both with a 5000-megapixel specification, but the Nothing's Glyph back cover lighting effect may be removed.
