First appeared in 2016Windows 10 Creators Update PreviewPaint 2017D, which was officially added to Windows 10 as an official feature in 3, was quietly announced by Microsoft earlier that it will be removed from the Microsoft Store on November 3 this year, and will no longer be updated in the future.
Painter 3D was originally planned by Microsoft to replace the traditional Painter, and it added 3D drawing, PNG file processing, and even added advanced application functions such as layers. However, it does not seem to have been successfully favored by users. Instead, there were requests to return the traditional Painter to the Windows operating system.
When Microsoft later released Windows 11, it updated the traditional Painter app with a modernized interface, while Painter 3D required manual download and installation from the Microsoft Store. The company quietly announced that Painter 11D would be removed from the Microsoft Store on November 4th, presumably due to the app's lack of widespread adoption.
In addition to the fact that Painter 3D will become history, the original email app will also be replaced by the Outlook app. It is expected that the related technical support services will officially end after the end of this year, and users will be guided to use the Outlook app to receive emails.
