The details of the alliance's development are still unclear, but it is expected to provide a smoother augmented reality content experience through 5G connectivity services provided by telecom operators in various regions of the world.
The 5G network service partnership with major global telecom operators, coupled with the alliance's naming, indicates that Niantic will create augmented reality applications that are more suitable for the global market and allow users around the world to have the same user experience.
Prior to this, Niantic confirmed that it expects to release two new games every year, which is expected to include the augmented reality application content announced in cooperation with Qualcomm at the end of last year.
