After Google officially released the Android 13 version update and announced that it would be open source, developer Mishaal Rahman posted the content of the relevant open source files.development, Google seems to be preparing to launch a new product code-named "Tangor"Pixel tabletThe Android 64 operating system, which is designed for a full 13-bit architecture, may not be able to run apps previously built with a 32-bit architecture on this tablet device.
According to the discovery and description made by Mishaal Rahman, the Pixel tablet that Google is expected to launch next year may only be compatible with 64-bit architecture apps and will not be able to use app content designed for 32-bit architecture.
Full support for 64-bit architecture apps will help optimize memory resource utilization, improve app execution efficiency, and reduce device power consumption, thereby increasing battery life.
If the Pixel tablet expected to be released next year is confirmed to only support apps using 64-bit architecture, it means that the subsequent development of Android devices will be able to more effectively utilize memory resources and improve content execution efficiency.
This is an interesting one: "Add test to verify abilist of armv9 cores."
This test "makes sure that an armv9 core that cannot run 32 bit executables does not export an 32 bit abis. This only fails on devices which installed on Android U or later."https://t.co/IMQkaIgh4m
