PChome 24h announced today (9/8) the launch of an iPhone subscription plan. Starting from NT$1534 per month, you can get it.The upcoming iPhone 14 series models also emphasize no prepayment deposit and exclusive insurance, and you can also upgrade your phone every year through subscription.
According to the instructions, the iPhone subscription plan launched by PChome 24h will have a subscription period of 12 months, and the old phone can be recycled at the end of the subscription period to offset the cost of purchasing a new phone. By continuing to subscribe, a new phone can be replaced every year. If the old phone is recycled in good condition, users can basically continue to subscribe to replace the old phone every year.
In this subscription plan, PChome 24h also provides zero-interest cardless installment payments and integrated services such as exclusive mobile phone insurance. At the same time, depending on market response, it is expected to launch more corresponding services in the first quarter of next year to attract more consumers to subscribe.
Users can subscribe without prepayment or deposit, and can complete a quick online verification process. However, they must be at least 20 years old and complete real-name verification to apply, and purchase eligibility can be obtained within 24 hours. Additionally, an additional payment of NT$2500 provides mobile phone insurance, which provides one original device repair or replacement service during the insurance period.
After the initial subscription expires, users can renew with one click without having to undergo identity verification again, making it convenient for users to continue subscribing.
In fact, Apple already offers a similar subscription plan in the US market, where users can pay a fixed monthly fee. After the expiration of the plan, Apple will recycle the old phone and offset the cost of replacing it with a new one. At the same time, users can continue to get a new phone launched the following year by renewing the subscription.
Previous rumors have suggested that Apple plans to launch a hardware subscription plan that bundles services such as Apple One to attract more people to use iPhones.
