In May this year, Google Search for mobile devices began to display website brand icons, making it easier for users to identify trustworthy website links. In the future, Google also plans to make relevant adjustments.Go to desktop search service, and can put more search results in the same page display range.
Since the URL originally included in the search results has been removed, it has been replaced by a certified website brand icon or a summary of the website's related content. The page is kept simple, with the search results presented only in black text and blue links, allowing users to focus more on the search results.
Video content, AMP web pages, or podcast content will be searched more quickly on the new Google Search results page and even presented in a more visual way, thereby increasing the click-through rate.
According to Google's previous statement, adding website brand icons to search results will make it easier to convince users to click on links and view more credible online content.
However, this change is still in the testing phase. Whether Google will adopt this design on the desktop version of Google Search search results page in the future will mainly depend on the test results after actual user experience.
