This electric bicycle was jointly developed by MUJI and Honda in their joint venture in China - New Continent Honda. It was designed by MUJI's art director Kenya Hara. It takes design inspiration from MUJI's H-type bicycle, combines it with the minimalist style of MUJI products, and is designed for single-person riding. The power part also retains the pedal mechanism, so it can be driven by pedaling when the power is insufficient.
The overall design incorporates Honda's vehicle experience, featuring 17-inch vacuum tires to cope with all types of road conditions. The bike is equipped with a 400W motor, with a maximum speed of 25 kilometers per hour. It is equipped with a 48V/20Ah ternary lithium battery and an EBS power recovery system, which can support a maximum riding distance of approximately 65 kilometers. For general commuting use, it only requires charging once or twice a week.
The "Su-MS01" will be available in two colors, black and white. It is expected to be sold in the Chinese market in a limited quantity of 5000 units, with a suggested retail price of RMB 4980.
