The Motorola foldable phone with 5G connectivity was recently announced.RAZR 5GToday (11/10), the Taiwan general agent Liping International announced the launch in Taiwan and the introduction of the mid-range mobile phone g 5G plus, which also has 5G networking function.
Compared to the foldable phone launched under the RAZR name at the end of last year, which only uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, the RAZR 5G announced by Motorola earlier replaced it with the Snapdragon 765G processor, transforming it into a mobile phone product that supports 5G connectivity.
The overall body has been updated with more curved lines. The fingerprint sensor originally located at the bottom edge of the front has been integrated with the Motorola logo on the back. The vertical opening and closing design is also maintained. The exterior still uses a 2.7-inch screen, while the internal foldable screen uses a 6.2-inch screen design.
Compared to the previous model, Motorola has also adjusted the hinge to better protect against dust when opening or closing the screen. Additionally, the external screen now allows for custom app shortcuts, allowing users to easily add frequently used apps and view their content directly on the 2.7-inch screen.
As for the camera, the pixel specifications have been upgraded from 1600 million to 4800 million. Other features include 8GB of memory and a battery design increased to 2800mAh.
The RAZR 5G previously sold for US$1400. The standard edition is now priced at NT$49888 in Taiwan, while the deluxe edition, which includes a one-year device insurance policy and a leather case, is priced at NT$1. Both RAZR 53888G models will be available for pre-order starting November 5th through Sharp Aurora (formerly Aurora Communications), Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Fiaco Ant Digital, Kaohsiung Sogo Ant Digital, and PChome 11-hour shopping platforms, including momo shopping.
The g 5G Plus, a mid-to-high-end smartphone launched simultaneously, features a 6.7-inch LCD screen with a 21:9 aspect ratio and Full HD+ resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. It's equipped with a 4800-megapixel main camera, an 800-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 500-megapixel macro lens, and a 200-megapixel depth-of-field lens. The front camera has a 1600-megapixel resolution and an 800-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The battery capacity is 5000mAh.
The suggested retail price of g 5G plus is NT$13990, and it will be sold starting at NT$0 when paired with designated plans from Taiwan Mobile.
