MiHoYo, the developer of Genshin Impact, announced earlier at Gamescom 2023 that it would be launching a new urban fantasy-themed game under its "HoYoverse" brand.Zero Zone (Zenless Zone Zero), is expected to be released on iOS, Android and PC.
MiHoYo stated that "Zero" is set in a dangerous world plagued by a mysterious disaster called the Hollow, destroying old civilization and burying order. Fortunately, there exists a city capable of dealing with the Hollow's impact: New Eridu.
Various individuals with different reasons and beliefs gather in New Eridu to challenge the Hollow for their own goals. The player plays the role of their indispensable partner, the Ropemaker, a professional who guides people safely out of the Hollow.
At present, miHoYo has only released a video introducing the game's combat mechanism and has not yet announced the expected release date of the game.
