Apart from Hong Kong EventAt the recent AI Tour Taipei, Microsoft emphasized redefining workflows with "Copilot + Agent" to drive digital transformation for businesses using artificial intelligence.
Microsoft Taiwan General Manager Bian Zhixiang stated that Microsoft has collaborated with Taiwanese companies over the past year to develop diverse generative AI applications. At the end of last year, Microsoft launched the "AI+ Taiwan" initiative, enabling Microsoft 365 services to operate in Taiwan through data-driven operations, thereby promoting AI adoption in local government agencies and businesses. As the proportion of businesses adopting AI technology increases, AI-driven agent services and AI governance will become common challenges for businesses by 2025.
At the Taipei event, Microsoft emphasized that while AI in the past was limited to single tasks, executed through single commands, AI-powered agents can not only operate independently but also simultaneously and collaboratively, resulting in exponential growth in their output value. When diverse agents can operate independently and collaborate, they will create a "Society of Agents," enabling individuals and businesses to achieve smarter and more efficient work models.
From diverse applications to user interface innovation, "Copilot + Agent" will redefine enterprise workflows.
"Copilot + Agent" will redefine user experience and workflows, helping enterprises achieve comprehensive artificial intelligence transformation.
Nirav Shah, Senior Vice President of Microsoft Dataverse, explained that Copilot is a one-on-one, personalized AI assistant for each user, saving them time and energy and allowing them to focus on more important tasks. The agent services behind Copilot are experts in various business areas. They are flexible and adaptable, capable of executing tasks on demand and handling complex needs, autonomously completing complex tasks on behalf of teams or organizations.
When these two technologies are combined and effectively leveraged within an enterprise's business, productivity, and analytical data, Copilot becomes a gateway to artificial intelligence, enabling users to direct the underlying agent services to execute when needed.
