Earlier, for IT techniciansProvide instructions, indicating that a task called Startup Boost will be added to its Office service to speed up the startup of Office service software, but at the cost of occupying some system memory resources.
According to the instructions, this task will synchronously load some core Office service items during the system startup process, making them appear in a resident, semi-started state. Once the user wants to use the Office service, the loading time can be greatly shortened, allowing the user to handle work tasks with the Office service faster.
To speed up the startup of Office services, the computer system must have at least 8GB of memory and 5GB of storage capacity. It cannot be used in the energy-saving mode set by the system, and it will also occupy some system resources after startup.
Such basic system requirements mean that if users want a smoother system experience, the computer system's memory capacity must obviously be increased, and more storage space must also be reserved.
Microsoft said that this feature is expected to be added to Word, which is used by many people, in May of this year, and will be applied to more Office services to add this task. However, Microsoft still provides a manual deactivation option. Users can disable the "Startup Acceleration" feature in the Office service-related settings, or directly remove this startup task from the settings.
However, it is not yet confirmed whether this update also applies to Office software used on Mac devices.
