According to Microsoft, the Microsoft Ocean Mouse is made by cleaning and processing waste plastic recovered from the ocean into reusable plastic resin particles.
The shell of each Ocean Mouse is made of 20% recycled plastic, which is approximately equivalent to the amount of plastic produced by half a 450ml mineral water bottle. At the same time, the box is also designed with 100% recyclable natural wood and sugarcane fiber materials, and no plastic packaging is required.
In addition, the Ocean Mouse only connects to PCs and other devices using Bluetooth 5.0 technology, and can establish connections through the Swift Pair fast pairing technology built into Windows 10 and Windows 11, and can customize button and scroll wheel corresponding functions through the "Mouse and Keyboard Center".
The mouse itself weighs only 84 grams and can be used for about a year using a single AA battery.
