Microsoft earlier launched the Xbox Insiders test userNew "Game Progress Sync" featureThrough online synchronization, cloud streaming games and gaming processes on Xbox and Windows platforms are integrated, allowing players to maintain a consistent gaming experience across devices while also being able to continue previous gaming progress at any time.
The key point of this update is that whether players are playing Xbox cloud games on Xbox Series X, Windows PC, or various Windows game consoles, they can see a list of recently played cloud games in the system operation interface and can immediately continue the previous game progress.
For players who often play Xbox games across different devices through Microsoft cloud streaming, this will bring greater gaming convenience.
In addition, the "Recently Played" function in the Xbox PC app will also be synchronized with the Xbox game console interface, and a "Cloud Games" search and filtering function will be added, as well as a "Quick Resume Play" function, which can instantly display games that have been run on any device, allowing players to more intuitively continue previous game progress.
Microsoft said that this design comes from the reconstruction of the new Xbox App library interface, allowing games from different sources (whether purchased from the Microsoft Store or subscribed to Game Pass) to be launched and managed on a single platform interface, further strengthening the cross-platform gaming strategy of Xbox Cloud Gaming.
