Microsoft announced in Taiwan the launch of a new "Crimson Realm" special edition Xbox wireless controller, which also features a transparent shell with a red design, serving as the third series design after the "Frost Realm" and "Azure Realm".
Through the red transparent top shell, players can see the silver metal middle frame structure inside the wireless controller and the precise design inside it. The unique design and bright red color combination show a bold collision between modern gaming and classic nostalgia.
The "Crimson Field" wireless controller features a red rubber grip with a diamond pattern, a dark red top protective cover, and red buttons, joysticks, and a metallic D-pad hybrid directional key. The trigger buttons are also red in texture.
In addition, through the Xbox Accessories app, players can also customize the key mapping of the buttons, and use the dedicated share button in the middle of the controller to quickly capture and share game screens or videos.
In addition to being compatible with Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles, this wireless controller can also be used with Windows PC, iOS and Android devices via wired or Bluetooth connection. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a battery life of up to 40 hours. It is expected to be available for pre-order through Microsoft Xbox official authorized dealers in Taiwan from February 2, and will officially go on sale on February 7.
