After actively promoting the integration of Copilot AI applications into Windows and Office productivity tools, Microsoft has further integrated its Copilot AI technology into the Microsoft Edge browser and made it available as an experimental feature called "Copilot Mode", allowing users to get assistance from the AI assistant at any time when browsing the web.
From the example shared by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella on the "X" platform, "Copilot Mode" can perform cross-page search and analysis on multiple open paged contents, and can even compare whether there are similar viewpoints between different documents, helping users to quickly integrate information and grasp the key points.

In addition, "Copilot Mode" also supports natural voice guidance and can provide assistance at any time through a dynamic panel on the side, allowing AI to assist users in browsing and operating. Microsoft also stated that in the future, "Copilot Mode" will be able to access browsing history and login information according to user authorization, and further perform complex operations such as booking reservations and providing situational suggestions, thereby expanding the initiative and practicality of AI in daily use scenarios.
This feature will first be available for limited testing in the Microsoft Edge browser on Windows and macOS. If users are not used to this feature, they can also turn it off through the browser settings.
