Microsoft earlier announced a partnership with Mercedes-BenzCooperation, will bring ChatGPT artificial intelligence technology to the in-vehicle system, and it is expected that approximately 90 vehicles in the United States will be able to use the digital assistant service driven by ChatGPT technology to assist in the use of vehicle application functions.
This cooperation also allows ChatGPT to enter the vehicle application market for the first time, thereby attracting more user groups to use ChatGPT services.
In the collaboration between Microsoft and Mercedes-Benz, ChatGPT technology will be connected through Azure OpenAI services to improve the efficiency of digital assistant services on the in-vehicle system and provide a richer interactive experience.
The new version of the in-car system, which is now integrated with ChatGPT technology, will be available for testing by car owners in the United States starting today. In addition to manually joining the test program through the official Mercedes-Benz software "Mercedes me", the test function can also be activated directly through the in-car system's digital assistant service by saying "Hey Mercedes, I want to join the beta program."
The test will take three months to collect feedback from actual car owners to correct related problems or loopholes. At the same time, Mercedes-Benz expects to further integrate ChatGPT technology applications in the future.
