Users or businesses that have previously subscribed to the service will be able to continue maintaining their existing subscription plans or switch to plans that do not include Microsoft Teams. Subscription plans bundled with Microsoft Teams will still be available in the EU in the future, but more subscription options will be added to avoid the EU's recognition of a monopoly market.
In addition to adjusting the subscription plan, Microsoft also announced that it will provide more API resources to developers, enabling them to use these APIs to connect third-party service usage data with Microsoft Teams, avoiding the situation where content can only be opened and used through the Microsoft Teams service.
