The Copilot feature currently used in Windows 10 is expected to be available for preview in North America, South America, and specific regions in Asia in the coming months, but the actual release date of the official version has not yet been confirmed.
Users will be able to obtain the upcoming version through the Windows Insider Program channel, so that they can use the Copilot feature expected to be available in Windows 10, and use it to assist in using Windows functions or speed up file organization efficiency.
Microsoft's decision to add Copilot specifically to Windows 10 may be due to the continued high prevalence of Windows 10 users. Data shows that Windows 11 currently accounts for only 26% of all Windows operating system installations, while Windows 10 still holds a significant 69%. Therefore, expanding Copilot to Windows 10 is expected to attract even more users.
On the other hand, during Ignite 2023, Microsoft also confirmed that it will replace the existing Bing Chat service name with Copilot in the future, and it will correspond to various Microsoft artificial intelligence application services.
