Perhaps they are worried about next year's annual developer conference eventAnother clash with GoogleMicrosoft announced earlier that next year's Build 2020 will be held in Seattle, USA from May 5th to 19st, but the specific location has not yet been decided.
After two consecutive years of overlapping with Google I/O, forcing developers and the media to choose sides, Microsoft has decided on the date for next year's developer conference this year, hoping to allow developers and the media to prepare first. It has also advised competitors to avoid holding events at the same time as possible.
In addition to confirming the dates for the Build developer conference, Microsoft also confirmed that it will hold the Microsoft Business Applications Summit in Anaheim, California from April 4 to 20 next year, and the Microsoft Inspire event in Las Vegas, Nevada from July 21 to 7. It also plans to hold the annual Microsoft Ignite conference in Orlando, Florida again from November 20 to 24 this year.
Compared to the past when the Build developer conference focused on Windows operating system version updates, Microsoft has continued to shift to an on-the-go update format in recent years, allowing users to always maintain the latest version of the Windows 10 operating system. The current Build developer conference also focuses more on communicating new technology applications rather than just introducing operating system version updates. It even hopes to allow developers to build more diverse applications on different platforms through the resources provided by Microsoft.
